Metalfest 2012 will take place in 7 countries and 8 different locations in Austria, Germany (East and West Germany), Poland, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland and Czech Republic in the months of May and June. The bands confirmed to play on Metalfest 2012 so far are:Megadeth, In Extremo, Blind Guardian, Kreator, W.A.S.P., Behemoth, Fear Factory,Hypocrisy, Legion Of The Damned, Dark Tranquillity, Saltatio Mortis, Ensiferum, Alestorm,Death Angel, Triptykon, Lake Of Tears, Vader, Swallow The Sun, Skull Fist, Hate, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Feuerschwanz, Mystic Prophecy and Nachtblut.
